Greg’s career in financial services began as an account executive with E.F. Hutton & Co. in 1980. Before he co-founded Caruso McLean & Company, Inc. in 1988, he was vice president and branch manager at Tucker Anthony & R.L. Day, Inc.
Greg has counseled clients and managed their portfolios for more than 35 years. He realized early on in his career that each of his clients has their own story, their own distinct circumstances and their own views on investing. That’s why he’s dedicated to creating customized profiles for each client.
Greg graduated Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in business management from Siena College, and took graduate courses at the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is active in community service, serving as the Chair of the Investment Committee of the Community Foundation of Oneida & Herkimer County and the Vice Chair and Chair of Investment Committee of the Mohawk Valley Health System, as well as serving on the Executive Committee of the Thousand Island Land Trust.
A veteran of the NYC Marathon, as well as numerous Boilermaker road races, Greg is an avid runner. He also enjoys skiing, golf, and spending free time on the St Lawrence River. Greg lives in Clinton with his wife Cindy. His son Mac resides in Washington, D.C. and daughter Tori lives in Rochester, N.Y.
